I have watched every known Jesus film that has come out since that 1970s one, but this is by far the best. Ingenious on how they build up the characters first around Jesus and then go to episodes with Jesus. You cannot be disappointed by this series. It takes the time to build up the characters and gives a real human perspective on each person. Furthermore, it is with some artistic license, true to the Bible.
