I see lots of people in the comment section praising the movie. But I'll just say it was terrible! This is the first time I will write a review for a movie because I would like to express my disappointment, and at the same time, I find it funny how the whole movie went. I expected it to be as good with other Marvel movies, even with the ones we considered not-so-good perhaps like Eternals. The first thing I notice was at the very start of the movie, wherein the forest was shown from above - I knew that it was just going to be bad. I don't know but it seems that the cinematography just didn't match with what we saw from other Marvel movies. I don't know anything about movie production and all but for me it just seemed that the way that was shot was "inferior" on what we normally see with other Marvel movies. Also, there was just no character development - characters just pop up there and boom! They become this person and that. The scenes were just so dry - not the acting maybe but because how it was directed or how the lines were delivered perhaps - it's just so dry. And the credit scene part, I find it both disappointing and humorous because the whole movie just seemed to point out to this scene wherein, Morbius is forced to be part of the larger Marvel network. I did get it from the start, in the introduction, wherein they didn't showcase the usual videographic of the characters on the big letters - MARVEL. So I thought this wouldn't be the Marvel production that we usually see but maybe another company is producing it in behalf of Marvel. Then, this just went bad. As for the last scene, I thought it was funny that this one character was telling Morbius about Spiderman, I have a feeling Morbius was from another Multiverse. But that scene just made me laugh because it seemed that they are trying to save Morbius from embarassment by involving him to the bigger Marvel characters. I think Marvel itself thinks this is just not at par with their standards. But by doing this, they are saving themselves and I think they will do a better production for a Morbius 2 movie or a next Marvel film with Morbius having a bigger part to play. So just go watch it and see for yourselves! But I am hoping to see a better Morbius 2 and so they've undone themselves. :)
