It’s cringey. Miranda’s character has been completely dumbed down for some reason. She decides to change to civil rights law and return to school. Although she’s an accomplished and educated lawyer who has a brief affair with an educated Black doctor portrayed by Blair Underwood, her character acts as like she has never seen a Black women professor … much less, one with braids. Yes Miranda actually says this in her first day of class. Carrie’s Boss on her podcast is a non binary Latin person named Che . Che is the epitome of every trope in movie history . They are portrayed as Hyper sexual , masculine appearance , heavy pot smoker … ohhhh their “edgy “ right ? But hopefully they can help Charlotte navigate through her child’s transition because Rose is now Rock and of course Rock announced it on a cringy tik tok . The dinner date with the Black professor and her husband and friends just seemed like a blinked and whole different show came on for 10 mins . The characters are just random and it’s like Carrie , Miranda , and Charlotte were asleep in a coma for the last 10 years and just woke up.
