My favourite film of all time.. Made when filming involved a cast of thousands and no modern technology..The chariot race is spectacular. The musical score by Miklos Roza adds to the atmosphere of the whole film. Christ 's appearances are given such reverence by playing the same quiet organ music and never showing Christ's face. It is a film which left a lasting impact on me and since I first saw it in 1961 I have seen it numerous times It is truly a tale of the Christ and it's impact on all the lives of the characters in the film.
