The movie is an enjoyable and fast-paced experience, featuring decent performances from the cast and the enchanting backdrop of tropical Bali. It centers on an estranged divorced couple who attempt to prevent their daughter from making an impulsive decision to marry and settle in Bali. The film touches on themes of family values, lost relationships, and the search for purpose in life. However, the relationship between the newlywed couple feels unconvincing. The character of the ditzy pilot, who is the mother’s boyfriend, seems out of place—he neither advance the plot, nor serve as comic relief.

A surprisingly beautiful and compelling story of boy meets girl, enriched by themes of family bonds and destiny. The narrative is touching and well-written, with a great soundtrack that complements the emotions perfectly.
