From seeing the two episodes I have discerned these things: 1. The “woke” issue people are mad about is actually just a couple black characters (gasp) and a woman being the strongest fighter- the people mad at just seeing black people and strong women should probably just stick to getting therapy over reviewing. 2. I was not bored as other reviews led me to believe I would be and loved to connect the story to the ones we know now. 3. Morfydd Clark does not blink but instead twitches her top eyelid slightly and it’s a bit unsettling when you realize that’s why she and her acting has seemed weird the entire time. 4. The landscapes are well done and give that mystical fantasy vibe though some of the random props (like trees in the foreground of certain shots) aren’t great. 5. I wish they would’ve released a season at a time because I wanted to watch more. 6. It has movie quality that’s easy to watch.
