I'm not familiar with the manga series. But I thought the film was amazing and look forward to a sequel. Hopefully there will be one.

Yes it's a very pretty and eye appealing game. Well polished indeed. However.... I just want to point out things that are aggravating. You can only apparently use summons when they want you to, unlike normal FF games, even though FFXV was like that too... That sucks. It's not really open world at all, it's a linear environment, so you go where they want you to when they tell you for the most part. Limited to micro areas... The RPG aspect has been reduced to where I really wouldn't call it an RPG anymore. Yes you can buy new weapons and they lvl up I guess but it's... Idk. Not like it should be? You can't set the character AI in the party to be how you want i.e. defensive, offensive, healer etc... So that sucks. It an ok game.
