This was a shocking surprise for me and my wife. She is going through a lot these days. She is stressed to the max. This kind of movie is not her thing. I literally made her watch it, telling her that she needed to laugh. She objected, but by the end, we both had our spirits elevated. It went a long way. Given the events of today all around us, we all need a serious retreat. The critics who for the most part panned this movie need to get real jobs because they don’t know shit about what makes a movie good.a major arc in the movie is when we are privy to the fact that Erfon’s character had been abused as a kid, and like many his adult life was being spent trying to compensate for his psychological trauma. How many slapstick comedies can weave such a poignant lesson into the mix. I think that it is worth everyone’s time. I didn’t know that Cena was such a good damn actor either.
