Expert use of (as one example) hair variations in cuts styles and finishes in emphasizing story, character and plot development. Now multiply that with set design, costumes, make up, music, lighting, camera work, casting and every aspect of this thoughtfully executed series. Beautifully juxtaposing themes of life/death, love/loss, naughty/nice, clean/‘dirty’, yin/yang. Marrying the 1960’s era and evolution of this child to young adult exquisitely. A buffet I am enjoying gorging immensely at. Going back for seconds and watching again. Thank you Netflix/compliments to the chef! Queen’s Gambit was masterfully conveyed.
