One word ..... Gladia-Crap! Pray this review about the movie echoes in eternity as there is much truth and honour in it.

Had high expectations for Season 2. Now, after watching Episodes 3 and 4, I feel the writing has just become really lame. There is next to no suspense, the plot is just circling around same old issues and the dialogue is filled with over-the-top self pity and cliche dramatic expressions: “I feel this is all my fault.....” “Maybe we can help others to realise...” “There’s something I need to tell you..” “What if we are being watched...?” “You knew and you didn’t tell me!” “This is all real!” “You just don’t get it, do you? It’s all real!” “What if this is not real?” FFS. This movie is starting to belong in the “box”.

This is a SUPERB post-apocalypse zombie series. Absolutely great acting. The drama involving the main and even side characters are greatly written. The storyline is fantastic, filled with twists and suspense. A few loopholes but easily overlooked. Make up and special effects are tremendously well done. There are episodes that are written in non-linear timeline which I think is very clever. As a drama/horror story, I personally think it outperforms Walking Dead and Last of Us and is created in the great tradition of 28 Days and Weeks Later.

The plot is all about someone’s large dirty laundry floating out somewhere in the mid-west devouring horses and stuff. A pair of siblings try to make money by catching it on film. Everything else is more “Huh?” than “What?” Good acting and cinematography but it’s a film to watch just once to check out what all the fuss is about.
