Absolutely brilliant film. Went in to it blindly, with no idea or previous knowledge of the sub-text, and I think that was an advantage in terms of enjoyment and suspense. You start to realise half way through that something monumental is about to happen, you’re just not sure what until the very end. A tragic story of how a mental illness, if neglected, can create psyche in someone that will make them do anything to be noticed. Brilliantly acted and under stated, a masterpiece
