Very disappointed. Loved BBT and the spin off Young Sheldon from the get go. Watch and enjoy the reruns. I struggled through episodes 1 and 2 of Georgie & Mandy hoping it would get better, it isn't. The opening sequence is ridiculous. The way the show is shaping up right now I will be surprised if there is a Season 2. Will give it another couple of episodes if no improvement I'm done with it. The annoying canned laughter is used when a show IS NOT funny, don't insult audience intelligence, we know if something is funny. I agree with the review as to WHY would Mandy want to move back in with her mother. The mother is annoying, nasty, irritating, condescending, sanctimonious, snobby......I watch certain shows to be entertained, I wouldn't bother with a person like that so why would I watch it on TV? I The husband is a nice guy, but really he should stand up to his wife more, thought that when he was on YS, he actually appears to cower away from his wife? not a trait to be portrayed quite so obviously on a TV in a sitcom. Be careful that Mandy's character doesn't become the same as the mother, a few signs already that she could. Mandy and Georgie need to move out, the sooner the better, for the interim live with Mary and Missy or MeeMaw and Dale Then buy a home near Mary, Missy, MeeMaw. Suggestion: Meemaw ends up getting money for her tornadoed house and helps Georgie and Mandy with a down payment. Regardless need to see more of the Cooper's etc in the show than Mandy's family of whom I'm already fed up and bored with. I didn't like them shortly after they showed up on YS, but at least they were not in every episode, so I was disappointed when I saw they were the main characters in Georgie & Mandy, and the Cooper's, MeeMaw were not. Mandy's brother?????? 🫤😏 Right now it is a boring, badly written show. Get back to the watchable and enjoyable shows it takes after. It seems as if the writers, producers have lost interest and threw scenes and lines together not caring if it fails?
