Drudgery and boredom. Half the book is spent in the exposition realm. Is this the same series I started? It seems to focus on 1% of the plot that was introduced in book one. A solid 60% of this book could be cut to no effect on the story. I loved this series, now I would be hesitant to recommend it. The author is famous for writing a lot, it seems he stopped focusing on his main series - quality not quantity of random novella's should be his new focus.
