Upsetting, mainly because halfway through I thought Tarantino might actually have made a movie with substance. Opportunities existed. Friendship, growing old without much hope, fading glory, youth taking its place in life - the director and writer could have developed any one or multiple topics in this film. But as soon as you heard the name Sharon Tate, you knew you would see a laughable, violent ending. That's all that Tarantino cares about.
