Love the concept but it feels like the person who wrote this has no idea how homeless shelters, women's shelters, hospitals and social services work in New York State or NYC. Why would someone leave Buffalo, drive 7 hours to NYC with no money, where everything is much more expensive. I don't believe it was even filmed in NYC, it looks like Toronto, Maybe they should have just had it set in Toronto, it may have made more sense.
Who would ask an ER Nurse and stranger to move to a farm in Nebraska. So much makes me shake my head in this film.
