While the book raises some very interesting and important topics the author is EXTREMELY politically left leaning bias which really takes away from this important topic. This is a Human issue, not liberal/conservative issue.
I've read other books on the topic that no names of specific organizations affiliated with liberal or conservative groups were mentioned, neither were politicians that made the other books so much of a better read.
In addition, as a SC resident I know the Stono rebellion happened in SC and not NC as the book mistakenly mentioned, not sure what other errors are in this book....please do your research prior to publishing a book!
Many other, not politically bias books, that are better written on this important topic are available
