Do not waste your money going to see this in theaters. I am a big horror movie fan. I grew up watching them. Even though I believe stories like Jason, Freddy, & Michael are over played & cheesy, I can still appreciate them as a horror fan. Honestly Halloween should have stopped being remade when Rob Zombie did the films. He gave the character a story & honestly made the character better & interesting. I wasn’t too optimistic when Halloween was being remade after Zombie because honestly, you wouldn’t of been able to top his version. This movie comes out (thank god on peacock because I would not spend more than $5 to see this) & it was so bad, I had to turn the movie off. The acting is atrocious, the story doesn’t make any sense, & Michael is not in anyway terrifying. He’s honestly rather predictable in this film. I’m not too sure what the director was trying to achieve but if it was making Michael even less appealing than he already was, he succeeded. I have never wanted to write a review for a movie more than I did for this because it was that bad. Do not waste your money or time on this film. Go watch Rob Zombies version if you actually want to watch a good Halloween series. At least the acting will be better.
