I understand how people might feel hatred against this documentary, especially because it involves someone so dear to the world and so loved because of his talent. I didn't take this film to look into Michael Jackson as the "worst person in the world" or "OMG I am not going to like him no more", no I did not look at it that way. I saw it just as a support to the victims. No matter the situation when someone comes forward as a victim of sexual abuse I would imagine people would support them, or even if they don't agree with it just let them be and don't keep throwing stones. The facts are we really do not know if this actually happened. We cannot place judgement when no one really knows if this happened, because most of us didn't live it. I would just hope that if someone has the courage to come forward that they will be treated with respect, even when it may hurt to hear certain statements to still have the decency to treat someone with respect. I did take this film to be more than just about Michael Jackson the icon but more about these victims and how we do have similar stories in this world about other children being groomed the same way these two boys at that time and later were being groomed. This is very informative to the public. The film reveals that no matter what, believe in the victim! Even if it is so hard to believe that someone that you may love, someone that has done so many great things in the world, and the person that you would least expect would do things like these, they can be that person. How many times have we seen this play out? So many times that it's so hard to hear. But really just grasp the knowledge that they bring and provide support and respect. This is more than just accusing the icon but more about the horrible reality that we live in this world and how we can help these victims move forward and heal. I honestly will be praying for them and their bravery on coming forward.
