Unfortunately being a heavy haul driver for thirty years and now retired due to a broken back I was advised to watch Australian Exreme Rescue to keep me in the loop of heavy haulage and recovery, well what a total farce this programe is as I could see from the first ten minutes of the show that it was all totaly set up the incident with the stranded roadtrain was absolutely farcical because no recovery driver in his right mind would snatch a webbing stap the way he did and it was obvious that the bull bar was not digging into the earth and the earth had been piled up for visual effect. I would lay money that any road train driver could have driven that roadtrain out of the position it was in blindfolded as for the Cat and the loader they had just been parked to look as if they were stuck again with earth piled up against them. if this is a real company who the hell bought Christoper in the first place as it is not fit for purpouse and only 750 hp at that this is no more than the bigger road vehicles if every time it gets a job and has to be pulled out by a superior vehicle then the company is loosing money and would not survive.
