I liked so much about this series but found myself turning away from all the bloody violence and ongoing torture of Merritt that lasted longer than needed to make the point. For me, way too many close ups of bloodied faces and the over use of "fuck" diminished the dialogue and the storyline.
Akram and Rose standout and Hardy as well.
Still and all, I'd ilke to see what they do with a second series.
