The most beautiful and complex anime I have ever seen. Every episode has a unique focus with a thought-provoking moral that ties into the broader narrative. The show spends most of its time on its characters and themes and leaves the world building to shape around them throughout their adventures. It's all so unique and mythological while being presented in such a whimsical mellow mood with bits of brutal realism seeping through.
It's an undeniably well animated anime with vibrant colors and smooth animation, and the narrative must be respected for all it accomplishes in just 12 25 minute episodes. It's an incredible journey and, if you were impacted by it like I was, by end of it you'll find more things about life worth smiling about.
