It starts off like a cheap Netflix remake. You excuse that once the plot starts to unfold, but then it doesn't deliver. Once the story line is set up it then just falls flat on its face and lays there. The over long fight scenes are really badly done and confusing. So many wasted opportunities to further the story, the Merovingian appears only to shake his fist and shout some french insults before sloping off again. What the final season of GOT did to the previous seasons, this has done to the Matrix. I give it two stars because Kenau is actually really good in it. I just feel embarrassed for him and Carrie Ann.
