This is a poor wannabe Hollywood-style fiction promoting colonizing force as angelic heroes having nothing to do with the reality of what happened. The poor little girl was killed by a gun burst shot by the French intervention group, and another little girl diad from her wounds later, plus a little boy was taken to Somalia, but was returned days later unharmed. The hostage takers did that to put pressure on the french colonization so Djiboutians would get their independence fron France and it worked.
