The acting is fine. The part that’s the most disturbing is the unrealistic portrayal of criminal trials. Also unrealistic is the lack of investigation in the alleged murder trial and murder of the husband of the two main characters. The defendant the 17-year-old boy is put on the stand when it appears that there’s prosecution is putting on there Case but in reality a defendant does not have to get on the stand to defend themselves. It’s the prosecution shop to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. It’s quite disturbing to see such inaccuracies portrayed. Somebody did not do the proper research. I don’t know if that was the producers or the writers fault but in any case it’s quite bothersome and takes away from the storyline.
