Not nearly as clever or funny as the first. The attempt to make a meaningful social statement feels forced, where in the original SBC's reverse culture shock was naturally and refreshingly hilarious. I think right now, in an election cycle, people on the left will enjoy this movie, more as an exercise in confirmation bias, than because it is truly funny. In a couple years we'll look back at it and struggle to get through it given the weak new material and rehashed jokes from the first that when repackaged no longer pack the punch they did. The first on the other hand is relatively timeless. Disappointing for sure.
