As much as I love thrillers, this movie was so unrealistic. There were too many things that just didn't make sense. To be honest, even after the watching the trailer, I thought it looked stupid, but I decided to rent the movie anyway, and boy, was I right. The acting was bad; came off stilted. When the plane crashed into the ocean, most planes would have broken apart before even hitting the water. The dumbest part was when Ava was stunned that there was no recption on her phone, I mean really?? The fact that there were only "the main people" in the movie who survived was unreal too! There could have been many more passengers, even as background passengers. Also, the flight attendant should have been much more knowledgeable and should have known how to handle emergency situations, instead, he had to be told what to do. Sharks shouldn't have been able to fit down the aisle of a plane because they are massive, so don't know how they could be swimming in such a small, confined space. Also, how did they have a wet suit for a girl? These are just a few examples which just come to my mind. It would have been a really good movie had it been more realistic.
