I can honestly do with the limited dex, but the story is extremely lack luster and your rivals are laughable and trivial at best. The fact that you can easily get to level 50 before the first gym can already tell you how easy the game is. Your rival spouts the same lines every time you meet them and can't even provide a challenge. The story line is even more dull and only actually start at the end of "challenge" and can be done in an hour or less. It honestly felt as if they had made the map and pokemon and only just remembered they needed a story of some sort. --spoiler--- The big baddy doesn't even provide any form of puzzles or obstacle he quite literally pops end and you walk straight to him to stop him thats it. Even post game stuff is extremely short and characters with 1 dimension personality/story. As soon as the new pokemon game hype vanish the game is dull. I was able to breed a perfect team and complete the dex easily and there was nothing else to really do. Lets not forget about the graphics as well. The frame rate drops like a rock anytime there is some kind of weather. All pokemon have one form of battle animation with some effects around them to make it look like its not doing the same motion. If you're riding your bike it looks like your not even on the ground but hovering just slightly off. Than there's the pathing of the npcs in cute scenes...They bump into each other and will keep moving forcing things out of the way until they get to where they need to be standing. I'm wondering what the programmers and such were doing the entire time they were making this game... Online play is not bad when it actually works. You need to have other players if you plan to do 5 star raids. 4 stars you may get away with it by yourself depending on what raid pokemon. I was a hassle to connect with friends. Sometimes I see them posting a raid team request for a pokemon and I don't see their raid on the screen to connect to their raid. Sometimes when I do see it though the game just won't connect and will say it can't connect, there's no players, etc. It seems like they don't want us to play with friends let alone other people. If you get this game It is better to just go on reddit or forums to get friend codes cause playing without those you'll be lucky to see requests for raids at all.
