The film is a little predictable. Some flawed misdirection within the film, that has you questioning the screen writers logic in the portrayal of the two highly educated parents played by Dern and Jackman, who come off completely oblivious to their own sons behavior, and depression. The actor Zen McGrath is used as nothing more than a prop within the film. Not given much personality. No pulling back layers as to why the son is dealing with depression. No insights to his therapy sessions that he undergoes later in the film. Best part of the film is Hugh Jackmans performance
