Let it Shine is movie that can be watched, but it cannot be lived. Some movies you can live and be changed. This is not one of them. However, the music is good and inspiring. Tomorrow you will have one of the songs in your head, but not all the songs in your head. If you have all the songs in your head, you did not watch the movie you listened to the soundtrack. This is not review of the soundtrack because I have never listened to the soundtrack. If you want me to review the soundtrack leave a comment, and I will get back to you with my thoughts. Overall Let it Shine is not Rags, and I have not listened to the Rags soundtrack either. I recommend let it shine to anyone who wants to watch a movie that is like Rags, but is not Rags.
