Look. 9-1-1, the franchise, has always stretched the boundaries of relatable emergencies. But in the first episode Kane Brown stage falling, a tornado hitting, a little girl flying away on a kite, episode 2 a man taken by a tornado to the top of a water tower that misses thanks to prayer and then lightening strikes Chris O’Donnell…meanwhile Leanne Rhimes as an angry background singer…a lifeguard becoming a firefighter in one day….is Ryan Murphy trying to sabatoge his career or does he just not care any more. There are the right ingredients here, acting wise, for a great stew but they seriously need a new Chef right away, and better recipes. Because I’m in episode three and it’s painful. You cancelled Lone Star to produce this? A show with Rob Low, a diverse cast…is this a kiss to Trump’s new America? Because it’s just plain bad.
