I have been playing dayz since beta and put many hours into the game. I finally decided to hop on a Hardcore official NA server and survived almost 24 hours so far. I headed far north and built a cool little wooden wall base in the middle of the woods. I crafted like 7 wooden cases and loaded it up with tons of loot. bullets, weapons, food, crafting tools, etc. I wake up on Saturday morning and I can't get into the server at all. I waited like 3 hours and was finally able to get in but spawned at the opposite side of the map with all of my gear. I decided to hike all the way back to my wooden base and noticed that everything was completely gone. The wooden walls, the crates, all of my loot buried in the ground was MIA. i understand the server "crashed" but how can everything disappear after putting so much time and effort gathering resources traveling back and fourth to see it vanish in less than 6 hours. WE ARE IN THE YEAR 2023...You still cant back up a server incase it "crashes". I also play ARK Survival evolved and everything is always still in tact when a server crash occurs. I would have given this a 5 star rating prior to wasting my time running around a huge map and looting for practically nothing. I wont be playing Dayz official or probably at all until they resolve this super annoying issue.
