Aggressively bad. Had to return it as the level of prose was so poor? Barely readable in places; had to return to previous points in paragraphs (which themselves were not ordered like paragraphs with no true transitions nor any decent flow for content) and the amateur swapping between passive and active voice so confused. I heard that this was a fanfiction with the serial numbers filed off and it shows. World building non-existent presumably because she has ripped HP for the original fiction and than had to change it all for avoidance of legal plagiarism. Why does YA mean poorly written these days? Even the smut is bad. I thought that’s what fanfics were meant to be good at? Relationship dreary and he does not come off like a man at all but a woman, in the disguise of a man-suit. Does not feel like a real person, but a vehicle for plot. The events are jumbled and confused and it seems as though it has not been line edited.
