Excellent opening with a deft touch on character introduction. I can imagine getting hooked on this.

Way too clever repartee. Main characters all are too witty by half. Everyone talks like a Bond junior. A Bond book without Bond doesn't work despite the present absence. Nicely descriptive but aimless.
