Bad remake that only kept the long boring parts & messed up the good. Blunt is not terrible as Mary Poppins, but her songs and actions just do not create any magic charm. The jolly holiday scene was the worst part: Mary Poppins doing a raucous burlesque of the prior routine. The bath/underwater segment was the best portion of this remake; enjoy it as it is short. My Grandchildren wanted to leave before this movie was even half over.

Went to see this movie on the basis of good reviews. Who are this people and how much did they get paid to say good things about this lame movie? I have always liked the transformer idea and toys. But the movies about them have always been Elvis style: a vehicle for fans to see their star in, without any real effort in imagination, plot or quality. Sadly, this movie is a waste of time & money.
