If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I'm writing this as I am watching it, and I'm not sure I will finish this film. Bland characters, and a conflict that isn't explained. All of this was clearly brainstormed by someone who isn't American, and cared so little about ensuring the plot could feel grounded enough that they over-estimate the distance from NYC to D.C. by 600 miles. I knew this was going to a be a poorly written movie going in, but good lord I expected there to be at least something to make fun of. The biggest joke to make about this film is the ridiculous notion of California and Texas "teaming up", the punchline is the rest of the film. Addendum: they are now in West Virginia after laying the plot down of "we're going to interview the president, and we need to be the first ones to get there" in the first 20 minutes. Why would you dileniate a distance if they aren't going straight there.
