An honest review... from someone not being paid to say what they want others to hear: Mindless violence, with so many gunshots, that not even a Phd Mathematician could keep track off. The acting was... and I'll be respectful... lacking credibility. Not Halle Berry's best work, as it seems that she never rehearsed...nor learned her lines... and therefore looked...and sounded... like she was reading her lines off cue-cards being held up off camera... and so did Keanu. If you like choreographed martial arts, bad acting, never-ending gun violence, along with bad dialogue... this one was made for you. Yes... there was something I liked: some of the locations were elegant, and added to the (weak) story-line. And of course... the ending is just a set up... for John Wick 4...5...6...7... and so on. Because... as long as there are audiences that are willing to pay their hard-earned money for bad movies... the producers will continue to supply the market. I just want you to know what you'll get for your hard-earned money.

If your schedule allows you to watch only one movie... the rest of the year... make it this one. Dame Judi Dench gives a performance that reminds everyone of why she has become synonimous with the words gifted dramatic talent. Steven Coogan's portrayal of the investigative Journalist... is also superb... and along with the rest of the cast, portray a sad... true story... of how evil... those we believe to be good... really are, and the many twists and turns, people's lives take.

A must watch. A funny, sad, and admirable tale of the life of movie director Juan Orol, and his many occupations, struggles to survive, his triumphs and failures, as a husband, father, filmaker, womanizer, and star-maker. Simultaneously funny... and sad... and an observation of a fascinating Life, and his contributions to the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema. I was hooked, from the first minute. Enjoy...

A movie that should be shown in Film Schools, to show, what a bad movie is. Bad acting... bad comedy... and a bad parody of The Godfather.

A beautiful movie, about one of humanity's ugliest qualities. Well acted, directed, and with great music. Inspired by the real life experiences of an amazing group of women, and their beautiful people. I highly recommend it. Enjoy.

Movie Reviews after all, are opinions... and everyone has one. But no one can deny that this is a very well made firm, with very... very talented voice artists, musicians, and animators. To those that are calling it "dark"... well, many Disney movies are darker, so stop it. I don't want to give away the ending... you are entitled to your own opinion, which can only be formed by watching it. And that it is... worth watching... and beautifully made.

Just watched the 1973 version. In spite of some of the musical numbers being "too Broadway musical" to fit in with the movie's scenery, it is still a beautiful movie, with a beautiful message: All we need to be Happy, is Kindness, Health, the right Place to Live, and Love. Sadly, most people don't live this way, and place Materialism above all else. Until their day comes... and they realize how they've wasted their lives in pursuit of it.

Should be shown in Fim Schools... subject: "How to make a bad, low-budget, poorly acted, remake, of an old classic". It is so bad... that the entertainment value... is in how hard I laughed at the (suppossedly) special effects. Watch the original.

Excellent production,well-acted, great special effects, editing, and cinematography. We are put asea... facing the harsh sails... weather... and the strugle between Captain Ahab... the crew... and Moby Dick. Quality film-making. Gregory Peck himself, would pay a complement to this production and cast.

Well acted, beautiful scenery... but for such a strong character... Chino, lets a bully, push him around and have the final word. Thus the dissappointing ending to what could have been a better movie.
