i don't like this movie, because i don't like that this is our reality in 2023. but it is well made & incredibly acted. extremely disturbing to view, yet not unrealistic by any means, based on what i've heard coming out of people's mouths my whole life growing up in texas. even now living in nyc. the things i've recently heard from my family that i no longer know or associate with... not for the faint of heart. i want to recommend this to some of the familial bigots, who haven't been entirely cut off yet, as a good 'psychological thriller' they should check out. they'll call it propaganda probably, according to some of these reviews.
