Only made it through a single chapter. Can't stand the characters, there's nothing unique about any of them. The writing feels forced, like the auther is trying WAY to hard to sound descriptive. The description of certain things don't even make sense. "Gooseflesh on her arms still felt like summer". There are far better ways to say she had goosebumps and felt hot. I didn't even understand what they were trying to say for like 2 minutes. There's sentences like this every 2 seconds and it sounds like the book is just talking in riddles rather then being descriptive and immersive.
