Insipid, baseless and utter rubbish! A waste of acting chops, with a crap screenplay and confused direction. 2 stars only for the vivacious Nimisha Mahajan and always dependable Gajaraj Rao. Netflix has lost it with its recent Indian content!

Animal is a portrayal of what exactly is wrong with 90% of Indian films! With all the hype, I decided to watch it over OTT, and was compelled to switch off after a laborious 2 hours, considering there was 1.30 hours still to go! I just couldn't manage it anymore. It is a pure bad film, period!

Such a waste of time and bandwidth! Believe me, it is better to watch paint dry! I watched laboriously until the 4th episode, and then had to binge a season of 'The Shield' to get rid of the aftertaste! I usually detest any content by Shetty, but started to watch this mostly because I had faith in Prime which has now taken a beating! So far removed from reality, nightmarish screenplay, comical dialogues, insipid acting, ridiculous set designs, jarring BGM, low key action using mostly amateurish CGI....I mean everything that can go wrong with a web series is on display here. Hope the makers watch Khakee and Delhi Crimes to witness what a police procedural drama actually looks like. Very disappointed Prime! It has to be the worst Indian web series ever on your platform! I hope you guys haven't signed up for season 2!!

Alex Pina loses the plot, and fans! Its a pathetic attempt at a spinoff. Although mounted on a large scale, it inevitably tries to feed off the characters from the original, and fails miserably. Bad screenplay, uninspired acting, and too much deviations from the main plot makes it a pain to go through 8 episodes. Berlin's parallel love story is so boring, you might feel like skipping those sections altogether. What saves the day is the cinematography and editing, making the heist watchable and exciting.
