I thought the best part of this movie was the acting by Aaron Taylor-Johnson & Russell Crowe! The relationship between them as father and son seemed very intentional and thought out. The second best part were the action scenes. So overall, I would highly recommend going to see this movie on the big screen to get the full effect with the sound & cinematography. A lot of the reviews I’ve seen talked about the storyline, but I think the storyline for the most part was good even though I would say that the villains and their arcs were a little underwhelming. And the people talking about the CGI… It is no worse than some of the other movies we’ve seen come out recently. I think we got to the point where technology has gotten so advanced that it’s actually starting to make the CGI look fake again.
