Very well written. I loved this book enough that when a friend lost the copy I loaned him, I looked for and purchased another. That being said, it's not appropriate for children/youth. It's a bit rough for lack of a better word. War is Hell. Being a POW in a 'ghost' (floating, moved about) POW camp would have been a special kind of Hell. It's a good book, but much of the story is far from pretty.
