This film deals so poignantly with the crisis of soldiers returning from Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, wounded in body and soul so deeply they feel emotionally compelled to withdraw totally from "normal" society. In the end, the father loses the last lovely link to that "normal" world---his sweet, gentle, daughter played with great power by Thomasin Harcourt Mckenzie. This is a superb film, one of the most important I have seen in many years. Both the father and daughter were weeping when they parted....and so was I.
