Planet Wabi Sabi

I was sitting through a movie reminiscent of Black Panther, Thor, Avatar (including the waterbending one) and even, Moana (giant creature in the trench), waiting for a plot twist (like maybe, William Dafoe's character manipulating both Ocean Master and Aquaman to work against each other all the while plotting world domination but that never happened so maybe I'll just write a fan-fic about it). No character development for Black Manta but they were probably hoping for a sequel for that. I should have known how awful it was just at the intro when young Arthur communicated with the shark at the aquarium. Old trope... At least I enjoyed the popcorn.
