Breathtaking visuals but it just felt like an extended Calvin Klein fragrance commercial from the Eighties with Christian Bale taking over the Kate moss role

Film does not need a second viewing. Film is very forgettable. Pay no attention to these pseudo intellectual critics who are afraid of losing access to the stars try & convince you that it's some brilliant work of art because it isn't. Don't try and make QT Kubrick !! QT wanted to give us this homage/ love letter to a bygone era in Hollywood but he knew that wouldn’t stand on its own (see the 1 hour waste of time middle of the film) so he needed the Manson angle. And even with the Manson angle it’s a film that doesn’t deserve a re watch. QT has done this alternate version of history in other films but it just doesn't work for me. Tate,Sebring, The LaBiancas and the others are dead for real and no director regardless of how talented he is can change that I'm still a fan of QT but don't let any of these pretentious film geeks try and tell you this is some kind of masterpiece. Far from it.
