I hate what they did to sweety bird making her more jerkish and annoying. What they did to Shirley the loon, she’s not loony but creepy and mentally unstable now. Plucky is also more jerkish and narcissistic now. They cut time of other beloved characters like Little Beeper, Calamity Coyote, Furrball, Fifi La Fume. Not to mention Fifi La Fume doesn’t have her loony toon counterpart. This was there opportunity to tweak his character where he can still be that romantic skunk but give him more self control and or seek help on the way he’s acted in the past. Also Mary Melody and Fowlmouth. They could have made new shorts with the original toons and the tiny toons but show it at the end like it’s a act they are putting on and also focus on other characters in settings like the Loo Bru, and not focus so much on the five they decided to favor and destroy who those characters where. Warner Bros needs to get better writers and stop destroying old favorites.

This isn’t rugrats, this is a cheap wanna be. They ruined it by removing great characters like Howard, we have enough shows and reality with absentee fathers there is no reason to take away another that was a great father in the original, the took out the Carmichael kids, and aged down Susie, and aged up Kimi no longer Chuck’s step sister, and trying to pass Betty off as gay, Betty isn’t and wasn’t ever gay, if you want to be more inclusive write in new characters along side the old ones with other storylines, and stop changing the old ones that what ruins reboots like this.
