I have mixed feelings about this movie. Positives - Great cinematography - Great acting by Demi Moore - The movie is definitely a suspenseful and thrilling ride, not boring Negatives - Major plot holes - The movie doesn't follow its own logic - The last 30-40 minutes of the movie are self-indulgent and just gross for the sake of being gross Overall it feels like a rough draft of a Twilight Zone episode, which goes on slightly too long. After watching the movie, it stayed on my mind for several days. If you're into thrillers, then I think it is worth watching. I can look past the problems with the logic, but the self-indulgent drawn out ending really took a star away for me.

This is very likely the funniest movie I've ever seen. The jokes keep coming so fast that you can't catch your breath. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have fun watching this movie. If you like this, check out the movie Top Secret with Val Kilmer, and anything else with Leslie Nielsen.

Despite being a huge fan of some other Lynch movies, I hate this movie. This is the most boring thing I have ever watched. The whole point of the movie is to be trippy, gross and weird, but it barely goes in any of those directions. What we are left with is a pointless, listless dream-like bore. The baby crying all night is so annoying. I really don't know why so many people praise this movie. I like the idea of it, but the execution is not done well. Don't waste your time watching this.

This movie is a masterpiece and probably a top 5 movie for me. It is a thrill ride even when you don't know what is going on. The scene to scene energy is unmatched by any movie I've seen other than Mulholland Drive (Lynch's other masterpiece). I've seen the movie once and I intend to watch it many more times in my life (though I want to spread them out so that it feels new to me every time). I don't want to look up an explanation of the movie because that would ruin the mystery of it. The soundtrack is amazing too. Absolutely watch this movie!

This movie was really bad. The dialogue felt like a 2nd grader wrote it. It wasn't scary at all and the music was often too loud to make up for the lack of talent from the actors. Characters had no logic or common sense. The whole thing was very scatter brained. Luckily it wasn't too long...

The person who wrote this movie clearly has seen plenty of bad horror movies and wanted to make their own. The acting and dialogue are bad. I almost stopped watching early on, but kept watching, hoping that the scary stuff might be decent. The "scary" parts take too long to get to, and fail to deliver as they rely too heavily on sound effects and strobe lights. Story doesn't make sense, especially at the end. Don't waste your time with this movie.
