Found the real case that is based off of this book. it’s very heartbreaking. First book i ever read was allegedly, that was also impacting. this genre is informing, it speaks the raw truth, regardless of how devastating it is. This book hold a very special place in my heart due to me wanting to be a social worker. i wish these kids could’ve lived the life they deserved. May they both rest in peace.
