The cinematography is damn near a 10/10. It has a slow pace and doesn't deliver a big finish. The film floats along and makes its point but what is that? I may rewatch this to solidify or amend my position. Perhaps the novel is a great story I haven't read it and am unfamiliar with Jane Campion. This was a miss for me might see some of her other work.
