In my opinion this show could've been good, but it's so repetitive. Also somewhat predictable. They also ruined Cisco characters around season 5 or so. I understand what they were trying to do or so I feel, and I think they were trying to create angsty or cold atmosphere in him, but it didn't work out. In my opinion Flash needed a change and I feel like they had that chance during when Iris supposedly was supposed to die, but instead they killed HR which later went back to the same annoying pattern with HR going away and a new version of him coming back. In my opinion they had a chance to have a big change in flash and that would be killing Irish. Now I didn't expect Iris to survive the way she did, but at the end nothing changed so much because I knew Iris would surivive and HR was another replacement of all the others but to speak truth I liked him better than most of the other HRs. If Iris died it would have a huge change and impact and they can do a lot with that vulnerable moment, but now if they kill off Iris which I don't think it will actually do much. They're a lot of places where I feel like they were either in the wrong direction or right direction but ended up in the wrong place if that makes sense.
