While there is no denying this is a brilliantly produced film and concept, I didn't come away with quite the hurrah that I think I should. For one, I saw the twist coming. Which isn't so terrible. But, most importantly, I think the protagonist wasn't at all likeable. I know he isn't particularly meant to be, but I suspect we're suppose to feel sorry for him at the end and I think he did enough feeling sorry for himself. He was rude, abrupt and impulsive. Not the hallmarks of a great police officer or nice person. I know many characters are like this and become endearing, but I just didn't like him. However... despite all that, I was gripped the whole way through and could readily appreciate the quality of the acting, writing (mostly), and production. Still worth a watch. Almost a hidden gem!
